Date and Location: Hall 4 of the Fredriksberg Sports Centre at various dates and times.
Individual Freestyle ages 0-14: 12:00 – 18:00 on Sunday, 27 July
Individual Freestyle ages 15+: 08:30 – 13:00 on Wednesday, 30 July
Individual Freestyle Junior Expert: 18:00 – 19:30 on Tuesday, 29 July
Individual Freestyle Expert: 19:00 – 21:30 on Thursday, 31 July
Pairs Freestyle all ages: 08:30 – 18:00 on Thursday, 31 July
Pairs Freestyle Jr Expert and Expert: 19:00 – 21:00 on Sunday, 27 July
Group Freestyle: 20:00 – 22:00 on Wednesday, 30 July
Rules for Competition: The IUF Rulebook (version 2008), Sections 3 and 4 will be used.

Performing and Judging Areas: The judging area for Individual and Pairs competitions is 11x14m; the performing area is 15x20m. The judging and performing area for the Group competition is 16x28m.
Length of Routines: Individual and Pairs who are in age groups 0-14 have two minutes maximum routine time; those who are 15 and older have three minutes maximum. Group routines are six minutes maximum time.
Judges: Judges must attend a judging training workshop (offered two times: Friday 25 July at 19:30 and Saturday 26 July at 20:30). Countries must provide a minimum of one judge for every five entries they have for Individual and Pairs Freestyle.
Age Groups: The minimum required age groups are: 0-14, 15+, Jr Expert, Expert. These age groups are final:
Individual Female: 0-10, 11, 12-13, 14, 15, 16-18, 19+, Jr Expert, Expert
Individual Male: 0-12, 13-14, 15-21, 22+, Jr Expert, Expert
Pairs: 0-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-18, 19+, Jr Expert, Expert
Awards: Each male and female who places 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the Junior Expert and Expert category will be awarded a trophy. Each male and female who places 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their age group will be awarded a medal.
